Jimmy’s mother’s death did not preoccupy him heavily, because you do forget those things, but at the same time… he had a leak in his heart, is the best way to describe it. It would be for anybody, to lose a parent. He couldn’t figure it out. His fretting and annoying others came because he could not get a grip on that. A mother’s influence would have rounded him out a bit more, because his father was basically not too encouraging. I think he felt a lot of lack there. I think he felt his father could have made a move, and had wishful thinking in that area. - Christine White
